Legal Experience That Matters.
Practical legal counsel informed by decades of litigation, business, financial, insurance, and institutional experience.
For much of Robin’s career, or the first 20 years, she concentrated her practice as a litigator representing self-insureds, insureds and insurance carriers in a variety of complex areas including wrongful death and survival actions, products liability, professional liability, transportation and logistics, premises liability, construction site accidents, mass tort litigation, toxic tort, insurance coverage disputes, healthcare, among numerous other areas.
Commercial and insurance defense litigation provided Robin invaluable opportunities to work with countless clients, general counsel, corporate representatives, claims adjusters, risk managers, and third-party administrators that has created lasting relationships with individuals, businesses, insurance carriers and self-insured companies. Robin has worked with some of the largest and most recognized commercial insurers, both domestically and globally, throughout her career. In doing so, she has represented hundreds of clients, in dozens of Texas venues, which have included: Big Oil; drilling operators, contractors and service companies; electric cooperatives and traditional electric companies; trucking and logistics companies; building material manufacturers and installers; general contractors, subcontractors, engineers, product manufacturers and sellers; nonprofits, universities and governmental entities; retailers, hotels, restaurants and bars; fitness clubs; premises/property owners, landlords, tenants, and property managers; healthcare providers, lawyers and real estate agents/brokers; insurance companies, self-insureds; among numerous others.
Robin has managed, investigated, mediated, litigated, tried, arbitrated, appealed, and argued 100s of cases, at every stage of review, throughout the State of Texas. She has jury trial, appellate and arbitration experience. She has been challenged and tested through managing complex litigation, establishing legal precedent with reported opinions, being party to major decision making as an Assistant General Counsel for the largest public university in the United States, and serving as a fiduciary for a top 50 US largest financial institution administering assets worth millions.
Taylor Legal Strategies & Solutions provides focused legal advice and representation to businesses, organizations, fiduciaries, and individuals in the Brazos Valley and in selected matters throughout Texas.
Robin’s practice is intentionally selective. She works directly with each client, carefully defines the scope of the engagement at the outset with the client, and looks for the most efficient path to reach the client’s objective. Robin’s background allows her to consider the legal issues together with the financial, operational, insurance, employment, and reputational consequences that often determine whether a solution will work.
Taylor Legal’s practice emphasizes collaborative consulting (if needed), strategic planning, legal technology, staged risk assessment/valuation, and early resolution, where feasible. Regardless of what side of the docket Robin may be representing, or if she is serving as a neutral in a conflict dispute resolution matter, the client knows Robin has a variety of tools to utilize that can help a client or trial team evaluate the case, prepare a witness, sharpen strategies, or make a difficult decision.
